ORCHESTRAS

There are two full orchestras in the CSYO program, the Philharmonic and the Concert Orchestra. Auditions are open to all instrumental music students in grades 7-12 who are in good standing with their school music programs and are prepared to commit to the CSYO rehearsal and concert scheduled. Questions about joining the CSYO program? Contact us at csyo@cincinnatisymphony.org or 513.744.3350.

The third ensemble in the CSYO family is the Nouveau Chamber Players. This chamber ensemble provides an opportunity for talented young musicians from backgrounds that are under-represented in classical music to work on chamber music. It brings African American and Latino string musicians together to rehearse weekly and perform regularly throughout the region. Students interested in membership must audition for the CSYO program. For audition information please read 'How to Join the CSYO' from the drop down menu.
