Inspirations as a musician: All of the brilliant musicians playing around me in the orchestra!
Favorite orchestral work: I always love playing Mahler!
Hobbies: Hiking, biking, running, baking, and travel. Also, I’m a certified scuba diver.
What's on your playlist? Just about everything in the classical music rep. Also, my kids love to listen and sing a long to various movie music and stuff like One Direction so I have a lot of that as well!
Fun fact: I once won a trophy in a skee ball competition that I didn't even realize I was competing in!
Favorite things in Cincinnati: Findlay Market, parks, the vibrant cultural options
Favorite food: We have a lot of great Indian food in Cincinnati and I do enjoy it.
Activities/organizations: Brevard Music Festival (faculty), Ayer Elementary PTO, Parkside Church in Anderson, Mercy Anderson Healthplex, International Horn Society, driving my kids to dance, music and swim lessons! I'm also an active private teacher.
How can the Orchestra make the world a better place? In a collaborative way, we simultaneously share something that crosses and eliminates boundaries of culture, language, emotion, education, status and more.
