Program and Description

The key of C minor tended to signal turmoil in Beethoven's music (think of his most famous C minor creation, the Fifth Symphony). The last movement of Prokofiev's quartet is rebellious in its profound expressiveness—not his typical fiery finale. Compositions of Portland, OR, violinist Kenji Bunch demonstrate the vision of "shared emotional truths about the human experience." Marvel at a new work by 18-year old violinist and Cincinnati native Weston Gilbert.
