On Saturday, September 28, the Sparks Fly + Hearts Soar Gala celebrates the opening night of the CSO’s 2013-2014 season with legendary violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter making her Cincinnati debut!  Recently inducted into the Gramophone Hall of Fame, Anne-Sophie Mutter is a champion of new music and young artists through her charitable organizations, while also dedicating herself to the major violin repertoire.

The gala begins with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in the glamorous Music Hall Ballroom, followed by a savory plated dinner.  After the meal, guests will attend the one-night-only performance where our own world-renowned Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra will perform works by Purcell, Elgar and Dvořák.  Following the performance, guests are invited to make their way back to the ballroom for the scrumptious dessert party with live music from Randomonium.  Tickets for this exciting celebration are available by calling the CSO Box Office at 513.381.3300 today.

The gala will honor U.S. Bank, in honor of its 40-year anniversary of sponsorship of the CSO. US Bank is the CSO’s longest tenured corporate supporter and is now the Presenting Sponsor of the Orchestra’s Grand Masterworks Series.
