Mission: To Seek and Share Inspiration

Gala d'Ouverture

September 22, 2018

Program and Description

Orchestral colors, vibrancy, and iconic masterpieces. These are the words Music Director Louis Langrée uses to describe the season-opening fundraiser Gala d’Overture for the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. This gala will explore the colors and flavors of French culture – ranging from music to cuisine, and more. Our team of local creative partners are working hard to ensure that the entirety of your experience will inspire you.

We are thrilled to work with two gala “tastemakers”—Cincinnati sommelier Kevin Hart and La Petite Pierre—to pair French beverages with authentic recipes from the region. The Faux Frenchman, known locally for their ‘gypsy jazz’, will complete the experience as you dine and sip on delicacies from France with fellow CSO supporters.

Proceeding the performance is an after-party featuring the musical stylings of the Bluewater Kings Band in the Music Hall Ballroom. Whether attending the orchestral performance, the gala dinner, or the after-party, there is sure to be something that inspires any music-lover on this evening – we hope to see you there!
